Although the season has turned and it's dark and rainy, we still can dream of summer. This red butterfly and flowers take me to the sunny days of summer. I've used the crackled forest stamp on the background two ways. First I sprayed the background with red mist. Then I stamped the crackles using black Archival Ink. Because the outcome was a bit too harsh, I then stamped the same pattern using pink acrylic paint. When stamping with paint it's important to clean the stamp right away so the paint won't dry into the stamp and ruin it. Użyłam tu stempla crackles forest na dwa sposoby. Najpierw spryskałam tło czerwoną mgiełką i stemplowałam z pomocą permanentnego czarnego tuszu. Efekt wyszedł trochę za ostry, więc stemplowałam ten sam wzór farbą akrylową (w przypadku użycia farby akrylowej pamiętajcie o natychmiastowym umyciu stempla)
On top of the background I clustered blooms and a butterfly. The flowers are stamped on top of patterned paper using Distress Ink. I also added a few doodles to the smaller flowers. The butterfly has two layers and they both are stamped on a piece of transparency. I colored the butterflies with touches of alcohol ink markers.
Na tak wykonanym tle zgromadziłam kwiaty i motyla. Motyl jest dwuwarstwowy - każda warstwa to stempel odbity na folii, pokolorowany markerami alkoholowymi.
