Wreck this journal * Zniszcz ten zeszyt

Hi, Riikka here! I bumped into this idea of "wrecking" a journal some time ago but didn't think of it much back then. Now when I started thinking about Christmas present for my creative friends, I thought this might be a fun thing to give.  

Cześć, z tej strony Riikka! Wpadłam na pomysł zrobienia tego journala juz chwilę temu ale troche mi się o nim zapomniało... Idea wróciła do mnie podczas planowania bożonarodzeniowych prezentów dla moich kreatywnych znajomych - pomyślałam, że niezła będzie z tego zabawa.

I started with the a few remaining pages of a watercolor paper block and the cover. I folded those in half and made this little minibook sewing the pages inside. I used the cover page to make the covers for the book and covered the patterned surface with a few coats of gesso. After that I added some stamping with arrow and check stamp. I colored the cover slightly with mists and then adhered two chipboard pieces to the cover - the moth and the star.
Zaczęłam od zszycia małego zeszytu z bloku papieru do akwarelek. Z okładki bloku zrobiłam okładkę zeszytu, pokryłam ją paroma warstwami gesso, stemplowałam strzałkami i szachownicą. Dodałam trochę koloru w postaci mgiełek i przykleiłam tekturki - ćmę i gwiazdkę. 

To the inner  pages I included instructions how either the page or the spread should be wrecked. I loved the idea of life really showing on the pages in a concrete way like adding postal stamps on a page or by stepping to the spread with muddy shoes.
Strony zeszytu wypełniłam instrukcjami, zadaniami w jaki sposób zeszyt ma być "zniszczony". 

I also used 3rd Eye stamps inside the journal to illustrate the book. For example I used a dream catcher stamp on a page which instructed "Sleep with the journal, describe the experience here.
Stempli 3rd Eye użyłam też w środku do zilustrowania zadań. Np. łapacz snów ulokowany został przy zadaniu "śpij z journalem, opisz swoje wrażenia".

Now I need I think to do one journal like this to myself, too! The process was so much fun and I believe that wrecking the journal is even more fun!
Teraz muszę pomyśleć nad takim journalem dla siebie! Zrobienie tego sprawiło mi wiele radości, a wierzę, że "niszczenie" jest jeszcze fajniejsze!

mikołajkowy prezent - St. Nicholas gift

Na Mikołajki dla kogoś miłego powstał mały upominek - kartka i coś jeszcze.

On the Santa Claus day I did a little gift for my friend - card and something else.

To bardzo prosta kartka, a do jej zrobienia potrzebowałam jedynie dwóch stempli. Biały papier nastemplowałam jednym z uroczych śnieżynkowych stempli, a następnie pokryłam przeźroczystym pudrem do embosingu. Mikołaja po nastemplowaniu czarnym tuszem wycięłam z kartonu.

It's a very simple card,  I needed only two stamps to do it. White paper I stamped with one of these charming snowflakes stamps by covering them with a transparent embossing powder. Stamp of Santa Claus I cut out of cardboard.

W prezencie są trzy małe notesiki.

Strong pink - sneak peeks * Mocny róż - zapowiedź nowości

 

Ok, I'm not sure if "strong" is correct for "pink" BUT You have to agree that this pink is so strong ;) I just get mist in this color... I'm not sure what to think about it but I hope that You like it! AND You can find there new stamp design! YES! These feathers will be available soon!

Musicie przyznać, że to bardzo mocny róż ;) Mgiełka we właśnie takim kolorze wpadła mi ostatnio w łapska. Nie wiem co o tym myśleć ale mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba, tym bardziej, że widzicie na niej nowy wzór stempli!!!! TAK, te piórka będą dostępne na dniach!

Macie ochotę na więcej nowości? No to hop: tekturki w kształcie domków! Konturowa wersja stempla "night sky background" oraz MASKI! Tak, w końcu! :) Tez nie mogliśmy się doczekać, ale będą, na dniach :)

December daily * Grudniownik

Today’s post is my first as a member DT 3rd Eye! Yay! :)

Hello my dears!

We have the beginning of December. It's a very magical and special time for many people, especially for scrappers. Do you already know, what I have on my mind? 

Yes, it's December daily! I’ve made my first tutorial for my first December daily (so many first times, don't you think?)

Dziś jest mój pierwszy post jako członka DT 3rd Eye! Yay! :)

Witajcie kochani!

Mamy początek grudnia. Dla wielu ludzi jest to magiczny i wyjątkowy czas, szczególnie zaś dla

scraperek. Czy już wiecie co mam na myśli?

Tak, grudniownik! Przygotowałam mój pierwszy kurs pierwszego grudniownika (dużo

pierwszych razy, nie sądzicie?)

I’ve prepared all the necessary stuff, for example art journal, stamps, chipboard, gesso, modeling paste, mist, perfect pearls.

Przygotowałam potrzebne rzeczy, m. in. art journal, stemple, wycinanki, gesso, pastę modelującą, mgiełki.

At the beginning I put on gesso on the cover art journal.

Na początku nałożyłam gesso na okładkę art journala.

Then I made my temporary mask from 3rd Eye. I cut the sheet (TEC-010 stars) without stars, split it on two pieces (because it was too thick) and applied modeling paste.

Następnie przygotowałam sobie tymczasową 3rd Eye maskę. Odcięłam fragment arkusza (TEC-010 stars) bez gwiazdek, rozcięłam go na dwie części (ponieważ był za gruby) i nałożyłam pastę modelującą

Now it's time for misting. I used teal ink spray, turquoise and gold Perfect Pearls Mists

Czas na chlapanie. Użyłam mgiełki oraz dodatkowo turkusowego i złotego Perfect Pearls 

Next step was embossing. I used one of my favorite stamps- stars (TES-122 night sky background)

Następny krok to embossing. Użyłam jednego z moich ulubionych stempli (TES-122 night sky background)

Later I printed my work's title, cut it out, and glued gold glitter.

Później wydrukowałam napis, wycięłam go i przykleiłam złoty brokat.

Now it’s the best part of work. You can decorate your December daily as you want. I used gauze, gold twine, napkin and gold alphabet.

Teraz najlepsza część pracy. Możesz udekorować swój grudniownik jak chcesz. Ja użyłam gazę, złoty sznurek, serwetkę oraz złoty alfabet.

Finally I glued gold microspheres.

Na końcu przykleiłam złote mikrokulki.

As you can see, I didn't use everything what I’ve prepared for this tutorial, because I changed my first idea :D  I do this very often.

Jak widzicie, nie wykorzystałam wszystkiego, co przygotowałam, ponieważ zmienił się mój początkowy pomysł. Mam tak bardzo często :D
